401k Match True-Up Calculator

Calculate the maximum amount you can contribute to your 401k while still receiving the maximum match or true-up from your employer.

The tax year for which you are making the contributions.
Your total annual salary.
The maximum percent of your salary that will be matched. Enter the percentage (e.g. 3) not the ratio (e.g. 0.03).
Paychecks
The total number of paychecks you will receive assuming you work the entire year. For example, a bi-weekly pay schedule would have 52/2=26 paychecks. Default: 26
The number of paychecks you received or will receive in the specified year (same as total paychecks if you are employed the entire year). Default: All Paychecks
The number of paychecks you have already contributed from during the year. Default: None
The number of paychecks you have remaining during the year. Default: All Paychecks
Past Contributions
The amount of any pre-tax contributions you already made for the year that count against the 402(g)(1) limit.
The amount of any after-tax contributions you already made for the year for this employer.
The amount of any existing employer match contributions for the year for this employer.
